It was only two years ago that AT&T reestablished its presence in the mobile market with its exclusive contract to offer Apple's best-selling iPhone, but at the same time they were putting their weight behind their home television, phone, and internet bundle, called AT&T U-Verse, and recent reports are showing that not only did those efforts pay off in terms of market share and sales, but in customer satisfaction as well.
A survey published this week by analyst firm Strategy Analytics suggests that, among digital television providers, including Comcast, Verizon, Time Warner, Cox, DirecTV, and Dish, AT&T over 80 percent of ATT Uverse television customers reported that they were "very" or "extremely" satisfied with their provider. These are tremendous results, especially in an industry where Time Warner and Comcast customers have historically (and continue to) reported a high level of dissatisfaction with customer service, technical support, and overall quality of service.
AT&T Uverse is just one of the new brand of home entertainment/communications bundles, delivered over IP. According to AT&T, they are the only national service provider to offer a 100% IP-based TV service, and tout its advantages of allowing your TV, PC, home phone, and wireless devices to be integrated and work together. They offer competitive prices as well, with packages starting as low as $49/mo for ATT Uverse TV, but with AT&T Uverse coupons, you can save up to $100 or get a month free when you get a bundle that includes one of their DSL packages.
