Don't worry, your money won't be spent on beer :-) Donations help cover:

Hosting fees
PHPJunkyard runs on a dedicated server that costs me over $200 per month.

Script development
Developing and maintaining scripts takes time and time is money. I regularly
hire outside designers and developers to help improve user interfaces of
the free scripts, perform testing and review security.

Advertising
A portion of the earnings is spent on advertising to spread the word and let even more people know about the free scripts.
