No clicks are being counted

Solution

Is CCount not counting any clicks on your links? Make sure you are using it correctly.

Example how CCount should be used:

  1. You want to count clicks to http://www.google.com

  2. Login to CCount admin panel

  3. Enter http://www.google.com in the Add a link form and click Add link

  4. CCount generates a new link, something like:
    http://www.yourwebsite.com/ccount/click.php?id=1
Note that each link is given a unique ID number.

  5. Now on your web site instead of linking directly to http://www.google.com you should link to
    http://www.yourwebsite.com/ccount/click.php?id=1

  6. When someone clicks the generated link CCount will count the click then redirect the visitor to the actual (target) URL address.

To conclude - make sure you are linking to the generated URL address, not to the actual one!
